Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, Buds Air 5 true wireless earbuds launched in India: Price, features and more
Realme has recently launched the Realme Buds Air 5 series, expanding its TWS (True Wireless Stereo) lineup. This new series includes two variants – Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro. The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is equipped with active noise cancellation and an 11mm bass driver, while the Realme Buds Air 5 features call noise cancellation and a 12.4mm mega titanizing driver unit.
The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro is priced at Rs 4,000 and is available in Astral Black and Sunrise Beige color options. The Realme Buds Air 5, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 3,499 and comes in Deep Sea Blue and Arctic White color options.
The Realme Buds Air 5 will be available for purchase starting from August 26 through Flipkart, Realme.com, and offline stores. The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro will be available for purchase starting from August 29 via Amazon.in, Flipkart, and authorized retail stores. Additionally, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro will have a discount of Rs 500 on the first sale.
Moving on to the features of the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, it comes with an 11mm bass driver and a 6mm micro-planar tweeter. Realme claims that these earbuds are the only ones in their price segment to have coaxial dual drivers, allowing for high-quality sound across all frequencies.
The TWS earbuds support Bluetooth version 5.3 and have intelligent touch controls. They also feature a 6-mic design with AI ENC call noise reduction. The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro has active noise cancellation and can be customized through the Realme Link app for an enhanced audio experience. It also boasts a 40ms super low latency gaming mode and can be connected to two devices. With an IPX5 rating, the earbuds are water-resistant. The battery backup is estimated to last for 40 hours with the charging case, and it supports fast charging, offering 7 hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charge.
Moving on to the Realme Buds Air 5, they come with a 12.4mm titanized driver and support Bluetooth version 5.3. They also have an IPX5 rating for water resistance. These earbuds offer dual device connection and work with the Realme Link app. They feature a 6-mic design with AI environmental noise cancellation support during calls. According to the company, the earbuds can deliver up to 38 hours of total music playback and also support fast charging.
